Here's some put together panoramas and other pictures from our September 2002 visit to Duluth Minnesota!   Thanks to all the folks in Duluth who made our visit so successful and LOTS OF FUN!   This page will load slowly but it's worth it - I promise!   Want more info?  visit:  Duluth's central web page!   Slide your page left/right to see them.

Here's the view from our campsite at the  Lakehead Boat Basin Campground. Right in the Harbor. Not a place for small children but if you want to be right next to all the action that is Duluth, you'll want to park your motor home, camper, bus right here!

Here's the view from behind our campground...that's the bridge just 3 short blocks away.

We did Monday morning's radio program LIVE from the Aerial Lift Bridge control house, right on the top of the moving part of the bridge.  Here's the view from the south side of the control room.    The Aquarium is the blue building on the right end of the picture.

This is the view of the control panel.  400,000 pounds of steel move with these 2 little levers.

Is the bridge up or down?  Here's a live camera shot... Bridge Web Cam

And here's looking at the traffic as it passes below you.
